I decided to sponsor my local Chamber of Commerce first Wednesday in May Breakfast Meeting to promote my Business and Infomration Security in general.
I produced a presentation to introduce myself, share statistics on Cybercrime, give an insight into the concepts and principles of Information Security, introduce Cyber Essentials, highlight the services EveryNET solutions can offer and a brief summary to end. The aim was to raise the profile of my business and determine if there is a market in the local SMBs (5 – 50 employees) for Information Security controls and management. The event was hosted by the Cote Brasserie in the town centre and was well attended with approximately 60 local business people present.
